Does anybody know when is going to be avilable the Card "Plus" 4 the SD1??....what kind of features besides the additional 130some styles/patterns?....Is going to be like having a NEW keyboard.......I'm looking forward to have one install in my SD1 4.0b..Thanks in advance.

your post makes me curious. What do you mean by card for SD1? I don't think cards can be plugged into SD1. Replace maybe?

there is no such a thing as a "plus card"; you just have to find someone with an SD1 plus who is willing to share the new sounds, styles and registrations.
For the rest, it's the same instrument as before.

I have the folders "MIDIFILE", "REGIS" and "STYLE" of the SD1+ ... I not tested them already....

This is new to me!
Besides additional styles, does SD1+ version have something that SD1 doesn't? Improved hardware, better processor ...?

the SD1 plus has a new piano sound on the hard disk (a rock piano, with a rather brilliant sound), some new styles and about 200 new song registrations (with settings for styles, left and right hand sounds, etc). The only difference, hardware-wise, are some colored buttons: that's all.
I am sure that all these features will be made available on one of the Ketron clubs (Dan 2000 is a regular on the France Ketron Club, so... )

At the latest fair in Frankfurt/Germany, i have spoken to the SD1+ demonstrator (Dany Dayn) and he told me that the SD1+ has also a totaly re-designed hardware-board inside.

This is perhaps the reason why the update 4.0 not work properly with the SD1- keyboards.

The new sounds are in the "program" bank .

I played the SD1plus and the sounds seemed to change very little . But ! when I listened to the new program's , I could hear an improvement . I did experience problems moving with in the program banks .

Has anyone experienced problems ?

Ps. I have the new SD1 styles being offered on the Ketron website . 81 "NEW" styles , 18 disk total . I found these styles were included with the SD1plus .

I believe in what Ketron User says about main board being redesigned. Manufacturers probably improve their hardware from time to time.
What I would like to suggest to Ketron is, if they happen to make some major improvement, it would be practical to make it fit into old keyboards for eventual replacement. I know there are limits in combining old and new, but up to that limit SD1 would become even more flexible.
